Living Proof Restore Shampoo

I have a lot of fine hair that’s wavy when wet but dries frizzy and kind of shapeless. I live in Florida, so humidity is a constant battle, I don’t use heat tools, styling products or color my hair for reference—really only just shampoo and conditioner. I tried Restore because I was dealing with some breakage and shedding. I noticed less shedding with this formula. The PHD line made my hair feel stringy (I think that one is better for someone who uses products or has an oily scalp) and this one felt more gentle and didn't give my hair that overly clean feeling. . . which was a big improvement. Of the three types I tried—PHD, Restore, and No Frizz—Restore was the middle ground. Not as clarifying as PHD, but not as smoothing as No Frizz, a good option if your hair needs repair and gentle care.

Fine thin hair with oily scalp and dry ends

My hair was getting used to my usual shampoo so I needed to try something different. I have fine, thin hair that’s oily at the scalp and dry on the ends. I’ve been really enjoying this new shampoo, it seems like it might be helping keep oils at bay a little longer and it doesn’t weigh my hair down. I feel thoroughly cleaned after use. My only gripe is that it’s very expensive for what it is, and I’m not sure I’m noticing anything special to justify the price compared to competitors. Also I’m not sure it’s working much magic on my dry ends - it is a bit don’t get me wrong - but I was expecting more nourishment in my ends with this being the “restore” one. Overall, really like it and is helping my hair but wish it was cheaper and a bit more effective on some of its claims.

I have to say that I liked the shampoo and conditioner the first time I used it. After a couple of uses, my hair was shedding very badly and had to stop using it.

I've been using this shampoo for years now and love how manageable my hair is when I wash with it. Keeps it feeling healthy without weighing down my hair.

This is a very nice shampoo. It was very gentle on my hair and has helped with breakage and softness. My hair is on the oilier side so I rotate this with a stronger cleansing shampoo.

Amazing for brittle, damaged hair

The Restore Shampoo made my brittle hair feel softer, more hydrated while still providing a thorough clean. I used it twice and then followed up with the Restore conditioner and my hair feels softer, looks incredibly shiny and had volume so this combo did not weigh it down at all. Absolutely recommended for damaged, brittle hair.

I have very fine coily hair that gets stripped easily but this cleansed my hair and my scalp thoroughly without stripping it. It also lathers very well and a little bit goes a long way. Ive been pairing it with the conditioner and my hair feels so hydrated afterwards. It smells lovely too but it is a bit pricey though.

Wonderful shampoo

This brand is absolutely fantastic! The restore line has become my sister's ultimate favorite. One of the best things about it is that her hair, which was super dry, looks incredible after using this shampoo. It's like a total transformation!

This Shampoo gently cleanses without stripping moisture, leaving hair stronger, shinier, and lightweight. It’s sulfate-free, safe for damaged hair, and has a fresh scent. I really did like it a lot! Definitely recommend!

Must have in my routine

I just started using shampoo and I love it. The way it smells and it makes my hair feels I’ve used it about 5x and it’s definitely going to to be part of my new hair care routine. Also have the conditioner.
