My go to powder! It gives a very light and fresh look. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey. It gives just that little umph that you need to have a polished look without too much makeup. It doesn’t break out my skin (which is normally sensitive to powders) and it doesn’t make me oily. I don’t feel like my makeup is complete without adding this powder.

Checks all the boxes

Matte but not flat, doesn't feel cakey, doesn't break me out. I still get oily by the very end of the day, but not as much as I would if I didn't use this. A good standard powder, but nothing particularly revolutionary. You do get a good amount of product for the price, though.

Good no makeup look

I have been a fan of the Stay Matte line for years. For nighttime I go full out with the foundation but for daytime, this powder is just enough. I use a matte moisturizer then this powder applied with a brush and it’s a good no makeup look. Much more natural than designated powder foundations.

Feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!

I rarely wear much makeup because I don't like feeling it on my face. The most I can get away with and still be comfortable is a brow pencil and maybe some color on my lids. That said, this powder is a godsend! I actually first bought it in 2010 for my wedding, and have kept buying it ever since. I have the oiliest T-zone on the planet, while the apples of my cheeks are somewhat dry, and this does wonders for evening things out. It matches my tone perfectly (no one knows I have foundation on unless I tell them), and the best part-- I can't feel it at all! I know why my mom's been faithful to Clinique for so long-- they're wonderful!

Good Stuff

I use this as a setting and touch up powder. I am 3/4 Western European and 1/4 Indonesian. The Stay Golden shade goes perfectly with the Make Up Forever Stay Matte Velvet Foundation Y355 that I use when I’m tan. I like having a tinted powder because I can make sure my blush is thoroughly blended. I used this to touch up my t-zone which gets a little shiny throughout the day. I often use Clinique’s blot powder for more oil control later in the day if I’ve already used this a bit and it’s a hot day.

Favorite powder! No break outs ever!

Love this powder! I have combination / oily T zone with sometimes acne prone skin just around my chin and jaw. I have used this powder for years. I can’t wear foundation or even BB cream, because it breaks out my skin. This powder can be buildable coverage and looks flawless. It never makes me breaks out!

I use this to tome down the shine my combination skin often gives me. It's light and does not cake up.

Great for acne prone skin, decent coverage

I've been using this pressed powder for over 10 years. I have sensitive, acne prone skin... even in my 30s. Every other foundation (both liquid and powder) always caused me to break out, except Clinique's. I also use the acne solutions liquid foundation with this powder for full coverage. This sheer pressed powder has about medium coverage. It evens out my skin tone creating an soft, non-oily appearance but it doesn't have enough coverage to cover dark blemishes. I'm Asian and I have light skin with a yellow undertone but I scar dark. I use Clinique's concealer for under my eyes and to cover those blemishes.
