This night cream is sumptuous, luxurious and highly effective. The texture is absolute perfection. It is neither too watery nor is it too thick, so there is no uncomfortable heaviness or tackiness. The tactile feel of the formula is delightful. It is cushiony, nourishing and gentle, and despite its light and pleasant fragrance, it did not irritate my skin in any way. My skin looks and feels silky, smooth, and pleasantly plump. Needless to say, when I am finishing running through this sample, I will definitely be re-stocking this as my go-to night cream for daily use. Bonus to nighttime routine

I have dry, mature skin, and I really enjoy using this night cream. This is my first time trying the La Mer night cream, though I’m a long-time user of other La Mer products. The texture feels rich but not heavy, and it absorbs nicely before bed. The scent makes my nighttime routine feel relaxing. Silky skin

I have been using this night cream for a week and I am very pleased with this product. My skin feels so soft and moisturized. Every morning I wake up with a glow on my skin. I was so disappointed by this product and will be returning. It smells like moldy rose scented face powder from your grandma's vanity, 40+ years ago. Hydration and trial quality is not what I have experienced or expect from La Mer :(

Always come back to La Mer

I'm a big La Mer fan, but I also have very dry skin. I like the consistency of this product and the scent, but the finish when applied is not as dewy as I would like. The results for my skin, however, are good - my skin is calm and has that LA Mer feel, I just like something that leaves more of a wetness. However I don't think this affects the efficacy of the product. This would be ideal for someone with oily or combination skin. Worth the hype!

I had always heard about La Mer, but I assumed it was for celebrities and the ultra rich and not little middle-class me living in small town America. While the price is significant, I do believe the benefits are of great value. I only used a very small amount each night on my cheeks and forehead -- the areas that are most problematic for me in terms of fine lines and uneven tone. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. In the morning, my skin felt nourished and plump. My fine lines were softer and my skin more even and radiant. My foundation went on more smoothly and there was less creasing and dryness during the day. I'm truly wowed by the way my skin drank in the cream and felt more full and firm with each day of use. Although I may grimace at the expense, it's worth it. Why buy numerous lower quality products when one will offer true results? At least that's how I justify it.
