The Resurfacing Treatment - Face Lotion

I've been using La Mer's Resurfacing Treatment in the morning and before bed for a few weeks now. It has a water-like texture and absorbs into my skin immediately. Initially it is slightly tacky but disappears within a minute or two. It has a warm scent to it but a little to alcohol smelling for my taste. It’s also very easy to over-pour, so handle the bottle with care! I experienced no irritation using this product. My skin is visibly brighter ,smoother and it dulled my dark spots. Delicate Evening Exfoliation

I prefer to use this renewing lotion in the evening so that my skin avoids the additional stress of sun exposure. The formula provides exceptionally gentle exfoliation; after application, I only feel a light tingling sensation. My skin becomes smooth, and the scent remains delicate. Not my favorite for the price

I received this product for free from La Mer for testing and review purposes I felt like my face went through a “purge” when I first started using this product. It has a chemical smell that reminds me of toning lotion from the past. Texture is thin and a bit hard to apply without a cotton ball.

An effective herbal punch

I’ve been using the La Mer Resurfacing Treatment and overall I’ve had a positive experience with it. The texture is very lightweight and watery, and it absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky or heavy. My skin feels smoother and more refined after consistent use.The first time I applied it, I did notice some mild itchiness. It wasn’t strong or uncomfortable, but I felt it more in areas where my skin already had some irritation. After the first use, the sensation became much milder, which I assume is part of the exfoliating process. The scent is noticeable and quite unique - a mix of coniferous and herbal notes, almost like a high-quality, herb-based medicinal product. It feels clean and spa-like rather than perfumey, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to fragrance. Overall, I like how refreshed and smooth my skin looks after using this treatment. It feels like a gentle resurfacing product that improves texture without being harsh, especially when followed by a good moisturizer and sunscreen. Didn’t Work for Me

Unfortunately, this lotion was not a good fit for my skin. The formula contains alcohol and glycolic acid, which together tend to cause mild irritation and dryness for me. The fragrance is quite strong, and I noticed a slightly sticky feel after application. While the product may work well for others, it did not suit my skin type. Spectacular

This La mer resurfacing treatment was everything I expected , and more. I used it twice daily morning and evening and have noticed a smoother, toned, and brighter skin already. Smoothes Skin Well

Trying La Mer The Resurfacing Treatment for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. My experience was mixed. Application was super easy. I applied it as directed, before bed and in the morning with a cotton pad. There was a very slight tingly feeling but nothing too bothersome. The bottle is easy to use and easy to store. I feel like after regular use my skin does feel a little softer, which is nice. However I can't say that I notice much a difference other than that. Honestly for the cost of the product I was pretty underwhelmed. I would hope for the cost that I would see more impressive results. I also don't love that it effects skins ability to handle sun (you need to wear sunscreen for at least a week after use). It makes me nervous as someone who is prone to skin damage from the sun. Overall this isn't something I'd buy again. But if you're looking for just something to smooth your skin then this would probably be worth trying! I'm glowing!

Wow after 2 weeks of use , I can see a difference in my face, I'm glowing my face looks a little darker more toned and my pore's are a lot smaller than before. This product did not caused dry screen or irritation of any sort . Only smaller pore's and more toned . I'm in my 40s and I would recommend this to you .
