Something is very different

This product made my face and neck break out in a very itchy swollen red rash. I have little hive bumps all over my face and neck. It didn’t occur until 8 hours after applying. I’ve used this product years ago, money got tight, so I discontinued for a few years. I just bought the pack of banana bright eye cream, moisturizer and serum only to discover something has changed in their products. My face is on fire as I type this. I will never purchase ever again.

This is very strong. Not for everyday use or people with sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend. I used this daily product for a few weeks and then developed what looked like eczema on my cheeks, neck, forehead and temples. I've used Vitamin C serums from other brands for years, so I never thought it would be the Ole Henriksen Vitamin C - I thought the tight skin and redness were winter dryness that just wouldn't go away. I started experimenting with adding more gentle products and testing what I was currently using. After a month of painful trial and error - and being turned away at the medspa for any treatments because my skin was so inflamed - I realized it was this product that was wrecking my skin. I had stopped using it for three weeks, along with any other actives. Once my skin had improved I reintroduced this product as the ONLY active and two days after using it, the redness, burning and inflammation started up again. I've seen other reviewers say that this isn't for beginners or people should do their research before putting this on. No, it shouldn't be this difficult for consumers. The onus is on the manufacturer to put those warnings on the label. People shouldn't have to be scientists or have their skin get inflamed to find out how strong this is or how sparingly this should be used. I've used many Vitamin C serums and never had a reaction to this. It's just not a good user friendly product. I wouldn't recommend.

If feels good on the skin and it smells good. It doesn’t leave an oily mark and I’m quite happy with it.

Youthful and dewy

I love it. It makes my skin look youthful and plump. I am 77 years old. Not sure if you want a picture :)

Radiant skin!

I've noticed a huge difference in my skin since using this product. I rarely experience dullness and my skin looks radiant, even first thing in the morning

Love the scent and texture of this product. Dries quickly, though Ole states to wait 2 minutes after applying before putting your moisturizer on.

I wanted to love this..

I wanted to love this product so much! But I eventually stopped using it. Whenever I applied it, it would peel. Hard to describe but it definitely did not leave my face feeling good.

I have been a long-time user of Ole Henriksen products. I have used the juice truth cleanser, dewtopia and Truth serum for years. Recently I picked up the Banana bright serum on accident when I needed a refill on Truth Serum. The products look similar and when I realized I picked up a different product, I was excited to try it since seemed similar but that might have some added benefits. Sadly after using the product for a short time, it caused my skin to swell, peel and turn red. The effects lasted a few days even after I stopped using it. I have never had an issue like this with another product and love all the other ones I use. It is an expensive product so may want to try Truth Serum which has never caused any problem and had great results.
