I have most colours of BB lip tint and am happy to recommend them as they aren't as sticky and gloopy as others but they are great for my dry lips. Yes, it's a hint of colour, but some have more of a hint than others - raspberry and blackberry are stronger, most are a hint. So I bought Garnet. Except it isn't in any way a garnet shade and it's the faintest hint of all the lip tints. I am so disappointed - the shade is a an orangey pink with a little sparkle. Whilst I accept that garnet does have an orange aspect to it, the overall colour should be, well, garnet - which is predominantly red. It's not.

Lasts NOTHING!

So many people complained it lasted a few 'uses' and I still bought it: I used it a COUPLE of times only and when I saw...the lip tint was gone! I am really annoyed as I paid a lot for it so I would like to hear from BB's customer service (Assuming you read all reviews).

Expensive lip balm

Basically a really expensive lip balm.. no pigment, no noticeable change in colour to my lips at all. Also quite small. Really unimpressed with this one!

Easy to Use & Wear

I have many shades of lip tints as they are so easy to apply and quick to use. They add a nice hint of colour- some are much more noticeable than others depending on the shade you choose. They stay on well, but you would need to reapply after eating - think of a lip balm and you have exactly what these are without the thick sticky feeling that lip balms leave you with after application

Lovely tinted lip balm

About the new bare cherry. A lovely hint of colour, exactly what I was looking for. It makes my face looks livelier. It's like a smooth lip balm, which doesn't sit in the fine lines of your lips. Please don't discontinue, but add more colours. I will try also the new claret one. Thank you

Like the texture and moisture, didn't love the colour

I really like the texture and consistency of this lip tint. I think they're great. I had purchased another lip tint (tried the nude - it's ok, but I don't love this tint colour with my skin tone either)... Unfortunately, Bare Raspberry was delivered in lieu of the Bare Melon colour, which is what I really wanted. The raspberry tint seems to just bring up the pink in my face, rather than give a refreshing pop of colour. Maybe with some more sun it will look nice? Sadly - not a win for this colour and my skin tone.

Allergic reaction

Horrible product! Bought 2 after recommended by Sat Times beauty journalist. After only 5 minutes of applying, my lips became itchy and irritated. However, I persisted with the 2nd balm because of the great reviews and applied overnight. The next morning my lips were dry, red, itchy and swollen and I developed several painful mouth ulcers. Having read the other 1* reviews, I discovered this has been others' experience too, so there is clearly an issue with this product (and on reading the list of chemicals in the ingredients, I'm not surprised!). A very expensive shopping mistake which will have to go in the bin. P.s. I've never had this kind of allergic reaction to other lip products.

Just like wearing a lip balm

Love these lip balms. Purchased 2 today. Blackberry and a coral one. Tried on the back of my hand first but doesn't give you a true idea of colour. You need to try it on your lips. Fantastic for daytime or evening if you dont like the thickness of lipstick. Nice and sheer but enough colour to look like theres something there. Didnt bother trying cheaper dupes first. I knew i wouldnt like them so didnt want to waste my money. Would buy more colours

Definitely not your average lip balm

I've been using this in bare pink for a couple of weeks and I love it. It's so moisturising and worn alone, gives such a pretty, natural tint to your lips. It also adds a gorgeous sheen when worn on top of a matte lipstick. A new favourite!

Best Moisturising Tint Ever

Like a previous reviewer I have rather dry lips, have used Vaseline in the past but this seems to vanish after an hour. Switched to this in Bare Pink and the moisture literally lasts for hours! Also, in the Bare Pink it is a slight enhancement of natural lip colour so very natural looking, very soft sheen and lips look healthy (if that makes sense) and feel moisturised. I would not be without this and I have tried lots of other similar products, some that have cost at least twice the price! This is simply the best.

BEST FOR HYDRATED LIPS

Go to lip balm but I have always had an issue with the lids coming off in my hand bag. This isn't just a one off where I've had an issue this is my 4th lip tint now where the lid never stays on. Love the actual product though but that's my only issue.

New Claret extra repair lip tint

This is the best shade of all the tints - your lip tint but better !! I've stock piled. Please add to the range and keep as a permanent colour choice Bobbi Brown.
