Not as good as the old extra repair moisture cream

I used to love the extra repair moisture cream. I was bought this as a present to replace it when it was discontinued. While it is similar, it doesn't have the same feel on my skin and it makes me break out every time I use it. Shame as it was an expensive gift. All the products I used to like have been discontinued now.

Bring back the spf formula please.

Adding my voice to those who want the old SPF formula back. Sensitive skin, don't wear make up all the time (when I do it's the SPF 40 foundation) This was the only moisturiser that worked for me without irritation, been using for about 8 years. Nothing else in the BB range is a good substitute for me. Please bring it back.

Cooling and smoothing

Easy to fab on very dry and sensitive eye lids due to a reaction from another good quality eye shadow.

The Holy Grail for Dry Skin!

I got a consultation from a Bobbi Brown and mentioned that I thought I had pretty dry skin. Tinted moisturizers would often look flat and dull and would eventually start to seemingly "separate". She tried several of their standard moisturizing products which didn't quite "wow" me. The consultant told me it seemed like my skin was absorbing all the moisture in the products right away. So she brought this extra repair product out. Normally I would have thought she was just trying to sell me on the more expensive moisturizer but my skin (and make-up) NEVER looked as good as it did after she applied this stuff. Highly recommend if you've been struggling with dry skin! Works well as a primer and moisturizer. Haven't had any breakouts or issues yet in the 2 weeks I've been using it. The packaging is super high quality and definitely luxurious (as it should be for that price!). Comes in a frosted glass jar. It's refillable and refills come with a lower price tag than the original product which is definitely a plus especially considering the high price tag. This product has made me a life long user. Highly recommended for those suffering from dry skin and haven't had any success finding the right product yet!

Amazing

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. I really struggle with my skin as sometimes it can be oily and other times really dry but this works whether I'm having an oily or dry day - I don't need to plaster loads on where as some other products I'm literally layering the Moisturiser on. The size is fab - I know it seems alot of money but for what you get its really good and as I say it lasts.

Truly decadent and perfect!

As a BB vip member, I was gifted this to try - what an absolute luxury! My dry-ish skin loved this, especially after coming out of winter. My face felt truly plumped out and fed, if that makes sense. I feel at last I have found a moisturiser that does what it says it's going to do, no false promises of implying it's going to make me look 30 years younger, just makes me feel like it's doing my skin the world of good!! Well done BB!

Sumptuously Rescues My Dry Skin.

After being sent this cream to try (#gifted) I duly set about comparing it with its 'original' sister. My Dry winter skin drinks this in. Its like my comfort blanket and both protects and restores my skin. Result:- seriously plumped and cushiony comfortable skin. I use this more at night as its rich. I thought this moisturiser couldn't be bettered- my mistake. Bobbi Brown have created another stunning moisturiser here - and it's refillable now!

Dreamy and Creamy

As a BB VIP I was sent this moisture cream to try & give my honest opinion. I received it mid/ late January & have been using it in the morning followed by an SPF. The glass jar is lovely & looks great sitting on my bathroom shelf . It is refillable & those come in wee pods that slot in to jar. When I first opened it , I was disappointed . This, was my own doing , as I expected it to have the same delightful scent as the VITAMIN enriched Face base , which I affectionately describe as a " huggle in a jar " . Nothing compares IMO. I digress.. This cream is more clinical, like it's eye cream partner & did take me some time to come round to it! The smell aside... this cream is wonderful! The consistency, so creamy & actually dreamy , absorbing really well, leaving my skin moisturised & glowing. I do think it will be too rich for the summer months ,however during these extremely cold ,harsh weather conditions in Scotland right now, it's perfect!

Rich, luxurious moisturiser

I love this repair moisturiser. It is deeply moisturising for my dry skin. My skin literally drinks this cream up. My skin is left super soft and deeply moisturised.

I love this cream

This cream is so moisturising! My dry skin loves it as a day cream and as a night cream. It's so soothing and absorbs nicely giving intense moisture. Although I love the formula, I have only given it 4 stars because whilst the option to refill makes it affordable, it creates more plastic waste when compared with just a glass jar and I would prefer as little waste as possible.

Hydrating and nourishing

Such a beautiful moisturiser! I love using it as a base before BB primer and BB foundation. It's perfectly moisturising on its own accord. My combination skin loves it and tolerates it very well. I must also mention the beautiful packaging. It feels very luxurious and would make such a lovely gift for a loved one.
