Great for my fine, thin hair!

I received this product as part of an educational program. I was very excited to try it out because I have very fine straight hair that often doesn't hold volume well. I also have a few other olaplaex products that I really love. I am not the best at washing my hair throughout the week. I am a 2 wash a week girl with 50% of the week wearing a slick back pony. So let me just say this product can REALLY get rid of the build up in after a few days and leave my hair feeling super clean without a double wash! I have notice my hair breakage improving, my volume holding longer, and my hair doesn't look dried out. This is after only a week or so. I can't wait to see the long term improvement after using this in my regular routine.

4c girlies run don’t walk

I received the Olaplex No.4 Fine Shampoo as part of an educational promotion and I couldn’t be any happier! I have 4C hair, and a lot of shampoos either dry me out or feel way too heavy but this one hit the sweet spot. It left my hair feeling clean without stripping, and super soft with a nice shine. I love that it’s lightweight, so my curls don’t feel weighed down but still look healthy and bouncy. Definitely adding this into my wash day lineup!

I recently moved to Florida where I think the water is harder than where I lived before, because I started losing more hair. + constant swimming in pools made my hair really frizzy and damaged from the chemicals they add to the pool. I ordered an Olaplex mask online. I really like it. And when I was given the opportunity to try their shampoo, I was just so happy. I'm afraid of losing my hair, which is naturally very fine, so losing more of it is always the worst. I always choose only high-quality products for my hair and I recommend this shampoo. *****I received it as part of an educational campaign.*****

Great lather, but dry shampoo needed

The shampoo lathers beautifully; I get a rich, bubbly foam just from rubbing about a quarter-size amount between my hands before applying. That small amount is plenty for my fine hair, so a little really does go a long way. My scalp feels clean and refreshed after rinsing, though I do notice a few snags in my strands. Once dried, my roots feel light and bouncy, though the effect doesn’t last long since my scalp gets oily quickly. The finish leans toward balanced rather than stripped or squeaky, which I appreciate. What stands out most is how soft and shiny my hair looks afterward. Compared to other shampoos for fine hair, I like that I don’t need nearly as much product to get a satisfying lather. Overall, a softening, shiny finish with good cleansing power and bounce, though I’d love a little more longevity in root lift. I received this as a part of an educational promotion.

The shampoo gently cleanses, does not weigh down and makes the hair more shiny. After washing, the hair is light, fresh and lively.

Olaplex # Fine Bond Maintenance shampoo

I want to preface this by saying that I am not sure that I have the correct hair type for the Olaplex #4 fine bond maintenance shampoo. With that being said I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I used both the shampoo and conditioner of this set together. Let me start with the good things. They both felt very nice on my hair. The shampoo lathered well and felt like it cleaned my hair well. After rinsing and it drying, before any styling or products I felt like my hair was overall smoother, however I was having some static issues which is not normal for me so I can only assume that it was my change in hair care. May not be something everyone experiences but I felt it was worth noting. I do have other Olaplex products including the regular bonding shampoo and conditioner and did not experience this. Also I feel like the shampoo and conditioner smell kinda odd. I don’t care for the scent personally. With all of that being said I think Olaplex makes amazing products and if you have thin fine hair this might be great for you.

Amazing Shampoo!

The first thing that stood out to me was the packaging. It has that clean, minimal Olaplex look that feels salon-quality. The bottle is sturdy and the cap doesn’t leak, which is great because I’ve had some higher-end shampoos make a mess in my shower. It’s simple but feels like you’re treating yourself to a professional product.

Volumizing

I’m 35 with fine to just shy of medium thickness with some hair thinning and/or falling out starting to be an issue as I’m getting older. Overall this is a decent shampoo that does most of what it claims. After washing I do feel like my hair has a noticeable extra thickness to it, and after blowdrying I think it feels like it has more volume than it does after washing with other shampoos, even with no additional product put in it. I don’t feel like it dries my scalp out, if anything the opposite. I don’t particularly care for the smell but I think this is just what most Olaplex products smell like, just a little chemically smelling for my liking.

Great shampoo

This shampoo really cleansed my hair better than I expected it to. I always shampoo twice, especially since I use multiple styling products and on the first wash, the shampoo did a really good job so I know my hair was nice and clean on the second wash. I honestly saw a huge different from the shampoo alone when styling my hair and after washing my hair felt really nice and soft. I received this product as a part of an educational promotion.

Used this shampoo and it's ok

I have used this Olaplex shampoo three times now and I do like how well it lathers in my hair and scalp especially because my hair is so fine and thin. It does also leave my hair smooth and feeling clean.

Great shampoo

I received this as a part of an educational promotion. I have never tried products of this brand before, but I have heard good reviews, so I am so glad that I was able to try products of this brand. The shampoo is small in volume, but you really need a little product, for my thick and long hair I take a little shampoo and the texture is quite thick, but it foams just great. After the shampoo, I really feel how my scalp and hair itself have been cleansed, since my hair is porous, then in a combo with conditioner, the hair becomes softer and more moisturized than without, so I recommend using them together. Overall, I was pleased with this product, I would like more moisture, but if you alternate with other products, then as a cleansing shampoo it is good.
