Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA for scalp

Works so so well

I bought this for my partner, his head is shaved very short. He used to have red patchy, dandruff spots and now his head is so hydrated and has such a nice even tone to it.

Not working

It feels okay when applied to the scalp but I still feel dry after using and the next day it got more dry. Will not repurchase and I dont know what to do with this bottle.

Disappointed

I wanted to give this a fair chance, but I feel like this serum is not suitable for my scalp. For context, I have coarse, 3c, low porosity, medium density hair. My scalp, especially around my hairline has gotten extremely flakey and dry. My scalp was fine prior to this.

Doesn’t deliver

Does nothing for my dry scalp. Just as itchy as it would be if I applied nothing.

Good for very dry and flaky scalp. Doesn’t feel oily.

Moisturizing but leaves my hair looking greasy/oily. Would not recommend for fine hair

Must try product

I recommend others to try this product if they are experiencing dry, tight, or an itchy scalp. I’ve tried a lot of products and homemade items and this product by The Ordinary really helped me. I’ve found that the enzymes in this product wasn’t hard or harsh against my scalp.

Absolutely not. I put this serum in my hair after a shower and my hair has never looked so greasy and stringy. And I just washed it. It didn’t hydrate my scalp at all either.

A must’ve in my routine

After using this product for past few months and i am liking this product helps soothe my scalp at night and next morning after wash feels really good❤️

Just purchased my second one!

I tried all types of oils, creams and specifically scalps products and nothing worked or only for a few hours to a day. Then back to itchiness. I don't know about everyone else but when I itch it's usually in the same few spots, it's not all over and I don't know why that it. Anyway, I decide to give this a try and got it during a sale and it worked. First several weeks I used it every night, just this and no other products. Now I'm down to mostly 3x a week roughly and itchiness is mostly gone. I say mostly because every now and then I'll itch just in one spot, I place this serum in that spot, massage it in, wait a bit and itching is gone. I'll be stocking up at every sale.
