Rouge Artist For Ever Matte - Power last liquid lipstick

Definitely Not 24Hr, Not Even 12 Hr

I had high hopes for this product, but it just doesn't hold up to the hype. The color is pretty, and it definitely provides a matte finish. Unfortunately, it starts to show signs of wear within four to five hours and requires a touch-up. If it's advertised as being longwear and 24hr, then I expect it to live up to that claim. I have a lot better luck with Maybelline which is a lot less expensive and lasts into the next day.

Applicator is odd but formula is very comfy!

This is the most comfortable liquid lipstick I've ever tried! It's more of a watery, thin formula, so I find that it's very light and "doesn't feel like anything" on the lips. I have very creasy lips but I didn't notice that this formula emphasized how crease-y they were, which is a plus. I don't love the applicator, I found it unhelpful to get around the edges of my lips, but it got the job done.

Το μόνο που με χάλασε λιγάκι είναι το ότι αφού απλωθεί το χρώμα βγαίνει πιο ανοιχτό στα χείλη από αυτό που φαίνεται στο απλικατέρ. Το κόκκινο μου βγήκε σχεδόν πορτοκαλοκόκκινο αντί για βαθύ που φαινόταν, οπότε όταν το δοκιμάζετε στο χέρι να το απλώνετε σε μεγάλη περιοχή για να δείτε πώς αλλάζει το χρώμα όταν είναι λεπτή στρώση όπως στα χείλη.

I received this from influenster to sample and really liked it, it's on par with my favorite stila liquid lipstick. The applicator is weirdly perfect for my lips, and the shape is different from other liquid lipsticks, but I love the feel in my hand. Lasts really well I have to say, barely had to touch it up.

Great formula, not the color.

The formula is gorgeous, longwearing, and matte. The color was not flattering for me at all. It wore very orange and was 240-rose now and always. It was not a rise shade at all, more of a funky coral color. While I appreciated the sample, I wouldn’t repurchase this shade. Definitely would buy the product again though.

Best transfer proof, lightweight lipstick

Ok i’m not huge fan of matte lipsticks, i’ve never owned one until this one. The applicator is a little small so a lot kinda comes out, but i put a thin layer and it wasn’t drying at all. The color was very pigmented, but not hard to remove. I didn’t notice any transfer after it completely dried but I put a lipgloss on top of it so it could keep that shiny look. I received this complimentary from influenster so i’m not sure i’d buy this. If you like matte i do suggest u do. have a love/hate relationship with matte liquid lipsticks. I love the finish and longevity, but not how drying they all usually are. This formulation is long lasting (but definitely not 24hrs), mostly transfer proof, and, best of all, not drying. It is pretty thin, the applicator applies too much product, and it tastes/smells pretty bad (perfume-y), but you have time to correct any mistakes before it dries.

Long lasting lipstick

This was the first time I used this product so I didn't know how I would like it. The application was easy to use snd went on smooth. It didn't go on too thick and I was able to put just the right amount on. Color was very complementary with my complexion. It lasted for quite awhile. I didn't have to keep on reapplying.

I received color 320 - Goji All The Time which is a reddish/orange/vermillion color. First off, I don’t wear lipstick or highly pigmented lip gloss because it always ends up transferring to my teeth. I gave up trying to find a long lasting lipstick that doesn’t transfer and have been wearing nude colored lip gloss for years. The packaging is excellent as the long tapered applicator is easy to hold while applying the lipstick. There is a lot of product on the sponge when you remove it for application. I would highly suggest scraping some product off the sponge, into the tube, prior to application. You can always apply more if needed. The product applies smoothly, is highly pigmented and dries quickly to a pretty matte finish. The longest wear time for me was 5 hours (which included a cup of coffee and lunch). The lipstick did not smudge or transfer once dry. I apply chapstick or lipgloss quite frequently throughout the day because I don’t like my lips feeling dry. Therefore, I think any long lasting lipstick will automatically feel a bit drying to my lips. This being said, Rouge Artist Forever Matte was very comfortable on my lips. It was slightly drying but nothing at all like other long wearing lipsticks I have tried. It gives long-lasting color while still being lightweight. I did notice the vibrancy of the color diminish after about 2 hours but there was still a noticeable color on my lips. I highly recommend this lipstick. The formulation allows longer wear than a traditional lipstick with excellent opaque coverage. I am excited to try the other shades!

I gave this product to my mom. And she loved it. She said that my dad would’ve loved it too, and I told her that he’s in Heaven smiling down on her, loving the way she looked. It was definitely better than I was expecting.

Good product, Fenty still #1

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I love the brick, slightly rusty tone of this lipstick. It’s very clear they were going for a Fenty vibe with this launch, and Fenty definitely does it better in terms of longevity. This did not withstand eating and drinking. However, this MUFE has a great shade range and the he texture is lighter, and I find less crusty. The shape of the applicator is large and weird at first, but I like that you can use the edge for a liner effect. Overall, this is a good liquid lip, but not indestructible. If you keep that in mind, this is a good buy.

I LOVE IT!

I wore this vibrant color to the "Bridgerton Experience" and it was a hit. I decided to wear an emerald green dress black gloves and tiara with my lips of rubies. This color did not smudge nor smear on my champagne glass and last all evening. No dry, cakey feeling and came off pretty easily. I can't wait to wear it again!
