Worth 10 mins of being an Oompa Lumpa!!

Being 41 over the years my skin has thrown pretty much every thing at me and I thought I had tried every type of face mask on the market. So when the opportunity to try Sephora’s brightening stick mask came up I jumped at it. As the winter has left me with dull skin I was eager to see if it would brighten and help to prepare my skin for the spring. I already knew that one of the ingredients - niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is effective in reducing dark spots (melasma) as I have used masks with this before to help fade the patch I get on my forehead thanks to genetics and female hormones! But I was pleasantly surprised when I did a little research more before I used it to find that regular use of niacinamide can help to improve collagen production, ideal for anyone who is perimenopausal or has had dramatic weight loss. So having done my checks, when it arrived I was eager to give it ago. I had wondered if it would drag across my skin, but applying it first across my forehead I found that it glided and didn’t feel too heavy and not sticky. I did have a moment when I looked in the mirror where I was pleased that I was home alone, as my teen would have made endless Oompah Lumpa jokes and he wouldn’t have been wrong! There was a fleeting thought of what if it stains my skin and thoughts of having to explain to my date later in the week that I hadn’t had a fake tan disaster or had resort to using dream matte mousse for a throw back look 😂 however those thoughts were relieved when it came to taking the mask off 10 mins later as just using warm water and a flannel, was enough to easily removed the mask quickly and completely and without the mess that most other masks leave. The mask doesn’t dry out, so there is no having to soak it to prevent it pulling at your skin and once it was removed my skin felt cleaner and but not uncomfortable tight. However, in the bathroom light I wasn’t initially convinced that my skin was brighter and went to bed (after moisturising). But in the morning in better light I could see that my cheeks and forehead which had been looking dehydrated before hand seemed to be a bit fresher and brighter. I wondered if another application the next day would work as it looked like there would be enough for another two goes… until I realised that the bottom twists and as the last photo shows, there is enough for at least two months of weekly masks! Well that led me to give it another go the next day and this time I really noticed the improvement and having checked to make sure it is ok to, I am using it twice a week for the time being, followed by an overnight moisturiser and the difference in just three weeks has been amazing. The ease of using it was brilliant and I’ll be looking at the other masks in the range to see what else might work for myself but also for my teen. Plus I have already decided to add these to my Christmas shopping list for family members who love their skin care and it’s only April!

Easy to apply glow face mask

I have tried this mask for few weeks and have noticed my skin has brightened. The roll on feature keeps my hands clean and makes it easy to apply. The mask is quite light, so I had to go over couple times .

Sephora glow mask

Still trying to figure out the purpose of this product. Although i wasn’t expecting instant miracles i was expecting something but I got nothing. It’s supposed to provide a healthy skin glow and even skin tone. It did however make my skin feel a bit softer but no other results. I’m not sure if this is for my skin type but anyway it wasn’t for me but might work great for others

Really effective face mask

This is a excellent face mask. Easy to apply and feels wonderfully refreshing. Its quick and convenient only takes 10mins perfect for busy routines it had a nice fresh fruity scent thats pleasant and uplifting. It's easy to use and applies effortlessly and washes off easily. I have started seeing effects after just a few days skin if gradually becoming softer and shinier with a healthy glow. Skin looks cleaner and feels softer. It's a compact sixd and fits easily in your makeup bag and the packaging looks sleek and stylish modern and gorgeous.

It’s okay!

This face mask is nice enough, it is heavily perfumed though which I can’t imagine will be great for skin. It glides on so easily which is great and the stick means it’s not messy at all. I didn’t notice any difference after two uses, so I’m unsure that it’s very reliable.

Smells amazing

Sephora glow mask 5% Niacinamide smells beautiful. Easy to use this stick is extremely easy to apply. 96% healthy glow effect and +56% even skin tone. Apply on clean dry skin leave it on for 10 minutes rinse with water. Feels great and clean. I really like this.

Brand new to me

So i love sephora and i have never heard of anything like this before. The only way i can describe it is kind of like a stick cleanser. You put it on your face and leave for 5 mins before washing off and it's supposed to brighten your face. It went on easily enough and i had no flare up considering i sometimes have sensitive skin to some things. It washed off easily and didn't leave any sticky or tacky residue and my face felt clean. It is meant to brighten your skin and i cant say it felt brighter but it was refreshed and pores didn't seem to be as apparent as normal. Admittedly after using it for a few days i did notice that the bags under my eyes were not as big as they were the first time i started using it....so that was a bonus!! Overall i liked it and how it freshened up my face but in terms of brightness, i cant say i had a "glow"....but that could also be because im fair and pasty 😂😂

It’s okay

This is okay. I like how it is in a tube and able to apply using that rather than getting hands messy. The mask is emollient and spreads easily but can be gloopy. It leaves a glow but not for long. I don’t see it having long term affects. I haven’t broke out, it is affordable and the ingredients are nice. I just wouldn’t reach for it as much as my other make are much more glowy.

Amazing face mask!!!!

Such an amazing product with great results and effectiveness. The coverage , texture and application is simply out of this world . I would recommend this product to friends and family!

Amazing

This is a very interesting face mask I love that it’s in the stick form as it’s really easy to apply. It does have a strong scent however it’s not overpowering. My skin felt so soft after use

Pleasantly surprised!

Really pleasantly surprised by this. I was a bit sceptical about the effectiveness because I’ve never used a mask in this format but it’s really good! The stick actually makes the mask really easy and convenient to apply, it’s a little awkward around the nose area but we make it work. It’s a really smooth texture and glides onto the skin without it feeling like it’s tugging at my skin. It smells really lovely and refreshing and doesn’t irritate my skin. It doesn’t set hard onto the skin, it’s a really lovely consistency without the hassle of having to dip your fingers into a tub. The reason for 4 stars is because it doesn’t seem like it will last very long. Overall though, it’s a solid product, handy for taking on holiday, easy to apply and leaves you looking refreshed and glowy.

Amazing

I absolutely love this stick mask it goes on so easy, it so easy to apply with no mess or fuss, the texture is a light texture it doesn't even feel like you have anything on your face. The scent is amazing it smells like apricot so nice. I love that you only have to leave it on for 10 minutes and gives you great results after such a short time. I think it is amazing value for money for a no less stick mask that leaves you skin looking amazing and feeling amazing after only 10 minutes
