It is gentle, and moisturizing and removes everything from my face with a comfortably lightweight relaxing delicious fragrance oily base with a subtly calming scent that leaves skin feeling soft, smooth, and bouncy.

Breaks Down Makeup Well, Minimal Blurry Eye

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’m a big fan of the double cleanse, so I was happy to try this cleansing oil. For starters, it’s a nice big bottle, much larger than any other cleansing oil I’ve had. I appreciate that it tells you it’s a first step and to use a second cleanser after. The back was hard to read for me unless I had good lighting. In dim lighting it was nearly impossible to read. I like how this oil does not give as much blurry eye as my other cleansers. It’s not super thick and washes off easily. Breaks down my makeup very well, including mascara and foundation.

Must have!

The scent is very calming and help me feel relaxed. It is gentle on my skin and clean very well. It doesn't leave my face oily. Will definitely keep using and recommend it.

My favorite

My favorite. A must-have as step 1 for double cleansing. I apply to dry skin and then add water to emulsify. Works perfectly for my sensitive, acne prone skin.

An amazing oil cleanser

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil has been a staple product in my skincare routine. The light scent is perfect yet not overpowering, and this is a great first step in any routine.

Smells good✨

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I think this works great as an oil cleanser. I think most oil cleansers kinda do the same thing so I wouldn’t pay too much for one and this is a pretty reasonable price. It smells lovely, very spa smell to it lol. My only issue was that the lid popped off first time i went to use it and i have had to dump and it wont pump so minus one star for that, otherwise a pretty solid cleanser

When I used it everyday I broke out but when I only used it a couple of times a week it worked great! Ingredients seem to be better than a lot of other comparable cleansers and there’s not strong scent

Great cleanser for dry skin

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been wanting to try this out for awhile and it definitely is a great product! It removes makeup and cleans my skin without drying it out. I love the feeling of the oil. The main negative for me is the smell which is nice but a little stronger than I like.

Just okay

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I’ll start with saying I like how much product you get and that the scent is very light which is great for sensitive skin. What I don’t like is I feel like I need a lot of this product to get my skin feeling clean. And it doesn’t do a great job at removing regular mascara. Probably will not repurchase.

Works for cleansing, but the smells like old oil

I usually love Beauty of Joseon, but this cleansing oil smelled like old cooking oil instead of something fresh. It removed makeup well and felt lightweight, but the unpleasant scent was too distracting to keep using.

Great for a double cleanse!

The oil feels luxurious and gently removes makeup and comforts dry skin without an oily feeling. The packaging looks very lux and high end and I'm overall so impressed by the quality of BOJ products as well as how accessible the price points are. For me the only drawback is the scent which isn't overly heavy but a little medicinal smelling for my tastes. I've used this as a make-up remover at night and the first step of a double cleanse as well as in the morning by itself when my skin is feeling a bit parched. It was very effective at removing heavy makeup and left my face feeling very balanced and soft.
