A classic fragrance but not as good as the parfum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The opening starts with freshness of basil, ginger and grapfruit to me and after 30 minutes it becomes sweet warm, elegant and close intimate scent which it was meant to designed. I am not getting any tobacco directly but may be its subtle and supporting accord only. The longevity is reasonable being 6/7 hours with average sillage. Not a blind buy scent.

I get about half a workday of noticeable scent before it becomes more of a skin scent, which fits well for dates or evenings out where I don’t want to be loud. The heavy, square bottle with its amber juice and dark cap looks refined on a dresser. Considering the designer branding and how often I reach for it, I think it offers good value as a signature men’s fragrance.

My wife absolutely loves it but n me as well. At first smell, I got some citrusy vibes, followed by a nice manly tobacco. The EAU DE PARFUM seems to last me all night without being overly strong. I felt confident all night wearing this scent.

My Go-To Evening Scent

The scent is warm and slightly spicy with tobacco and amber that feel very smooth and masculine. It’s not too loud, but people notice it when they get close. I usually wear it in the evening or on dates, and I’ve received several compliments. Definitely a fragrance I keep coming back to.

Woodsy musky

A more refined take on the original formulations.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have the original formulations of The One by DG and this one is a slightly more refined. It has a stronger smell which is definitely a bonus, as the og EDP goes away after 2-3 hours meaning your 3.4 oz bottle will disappear quickly as you are forced/can overspray. This autumn scent being refined meaning it will project a bit louder through the cold, it’s quite nice. This is an everyday to formal occasion fall clean scent. The scent is more pronounced tobacco orange sent specifically a bit more “umphg” to the orange. If you have the original it is not worth the upgrade but overall this reformulation is better.

Good but short lived

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Little sample, not a bottle. Normal sample atomizer. Now.... The scent is great. Will not win any awards, it's good. It does not last at all and somehow the lovely "edge" the original one had is gone..... So after a mediocre length, you have a nice soft skin like smell. Would be a great date night scent if it was a bit more dense. Would not spent the coin on a full bottle. But again... Smells good.
