Original Skin - Matte Moisturizer with Willowherb

Didn’t work for my sensitive oily skin

I bought this cream cause they told me it was going to be good on my oily skin but it didn’t helped at all. It made my skin super dry and I didn’t like the smell at all 🥲

contains glitter

Applied it right after washing my face, and noticed shimmers. Did a patch test on my arm, again, shimmers. why does a moisturizer contain glitter, and why is it not mentioned?

My daily go to moisturizer

This is my go to moisturizer. My skin is hydrated while the willowherb reduces shine. I wear this under my primer.

Dries quickly

I have super oily skin, and live in HOT Texas heat. I'd skip moisturizer altogether if I could, but I have some combination patches that get dry, and moisturizing helps everything else go on smoother. Of all the oil-free this and that I try, I really like this moisturizer because it does on light and dries quickly. So many other "gel" or supposed water formulas take forever to dry, especially if my bathroom's hot, steamy and humid after my shower. With this moisturizer, I don't have to wait nearly so long before it dries and I can put on my makeup. I can't say that it keeps my face "matte" during the day. But I use a combination of various products that all combat the oils on my face. This is one of the first steps in that routine.

Skip it, not even kind of matte

This is a decent moisturizer but it is not matte in the slightest.

I’d buy it again!

Fabulous for the gal who needs a night cream (or morning cream) that fights red cheeks and acne! My skin has been so much softer, brighter, and less red having used this one for the last year! I’m on my 2nd bottle as I interchange between creams (I use this at night). It worked so well with my oily t-zone and dry cheeks. Worth a try!!

Summer Gem

This moisturizer has been perfect for the summer! It makes my face look so good that I haven’t worn any foundation. It stays hydrated and matte all day. It smells amazing too. Will definitely be getting it again!

Great Moisturizer! Wish there were more options.

I have been using this moisturizer for years. Probably about 7 years give or take. Nothing moisturizes while keeping my skin hydrated and soft during the day. I'm giving it four stars because I've been using it for so long and there aren't any improvements or alternative products. For example I wish this product had a color correcting alternative. I have a lot of redness and don't like wearing makeup everyday so I wish this moisturizer came in a green tint to take some of the redness away while doing what it currently does. It would also be nice if the moisturizer had some SPF in it. I know Origins has other moisturizer with SPF but again this is the perfect moisturizer for my skin. It would just be nice if this moisturizer came in an alternative formula or two to fit a variety of daily skincare routines.

Oil Slick Free

I alternate between this and the First Aid Beauty Oil control moisturizer. Origins is for my non makeup days since it does pill slightly under certain make up. It works well and keeps my skin oil free. I do prefer the FAB, but I think my skin gets too used to it, so I like to switch between the two.

great matte finish

Amazing! This is for oily skin, if you have dry skin this might not work for you. It leaves your face feeling smooth and matte! I love it, it really helps you to not look greasy. As someone with oily skin, I really dislike when moisturizers leave your skin looking shiner, this leaves it looking fresh. It’s my go to moisturizer for the morning or before make up.
