Drying

I thought this would be perfect for my fine highlighted curly hair as it gets greasy quickly but actually this is having the opposite effect. It's more of a clarifying shampoo for me as it dries my hair so much. I purchased the conditioner to see if that would help but still dry and I'm going to have to switch to something else. Not what I was hoping for given the cost.

Great shampoo

This is a lovely moisturising shampoo that smell amazing. Good for everyday use.

I broke out as a result of using this product

I regret trying this shampoo, as it caused me to break out in multiple areas. After using it, I developed acne on my chest, the nape of my neck, and along my hairline. I suspect it's due to the pore-clogging ingredients in the formula. If you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts, I definitely don't recommend this product. It's unfortunate because the shampoo seemed promising at first, but the side effects were just not worth it. Avoid if you're looking for something gentle on the skin.

This could be used by everyone in the household. Gentle, and non irritating. Smells lovely.

Works great for fine hair

Used for years so lived through formula change but still works a treat. I can't use the conditioner but the shampoo is great for me. Tried loads of others but always come back to this. Gives my hair some body, leaves it feeling clean and always healthy. I have chin length fine blonde 51 year old hair. I use Aveda thickening hair lotion too which is great. Sometimes combine with the volumising one but if you need to choose and you have fine hair go for the thickening one.

Used for past six years at least. Recommended by hairdresser. Natural and gentle.

Will always repurchase

After being recommended this shampoo by a friends I decided to purchase the Shampure Shampoo & Conditioner. On first use I discovers you need two double shampoo hair for the best results, but as someone with very thick hair I would have to do this anyway. I can't believe how shiny and nourished my hair looks after using this, not at all greasy or dry as some of the below reviews have complained about.

Lovely Shampoo

Having never used the old formula, I am very happy with this shampoo. My hair is very fine and chemically treated. This makes it nice and light and clean feeling. I really like it.

Extremely disappointed

Smells wonderful. However, Has left my hair dry and greasy and feeling like I haven't washed it out properly. I gave it another go thinking that perhaps I didn't wash it out. Same. Disappointed as this was received as a Christmas present. Not sure if the issue is with the shampoo or conditioner but not really the point given the cost. Rip offÖ

Gentle and nourishing

I've used this shampoo for years and love how gentle it is but as I get older and my hair and scalp are getting drier I now need something more moisturising.

Great product and excellent service!

This shampoo was recommended to me years ago by my hairdresser and I have not stopped using it! It leaves your hair smooth and soft, and a small quantity is enough to produce a lovely, thick and luscious lather.
