This is actually the biggest let down of 2025 beauty purchases. Hydrating? Maybe if dry straw like texture post showering is your goal. The only good thing about this was the smell, other than that- the consistency with water made it so runny, had to use so much to even feel anything in my hair. I rarely write reviews and try to give the benefit of the doubt. If you need a sign - THIS IS IT.

This is a must have for damaged color treated hair

This Virtue Recovery Conditioner is a must-have for damaged or over-processed hair. This product actually repairs hair from the inside out, not just masks damage. My hair felt stronger, smoother, and noticeably healthier after just a few uses. It’s rich but not heavy, smells great, and leaves no residue. Perfect for dry, color-treated, or brittle hair. Repairs damage, softens hair, great scent, and clean ingredients. Totally worth the splurge if your hair needs serious recovery.

Amazing!!

This deep conditioning treatment left my hair, feeling so rejuvenated and soft. The scent also smells so amazing. I felt like I didn’t even need to wear a perfume for the day because my hair already smelled so good.

This is a good conditioner

My hair gets very dry and frizzy. Virtue Recovery Conditioner has been amazing for my hair. Absolutely love this conditioner. It moisturizes and repairs dry strands. Leaving my hair soft but not weighed down.

I have tried the dry shampoo from virtue and I loved it, so I had high hoped for this conditioner and it really delivered. My hair is thick and wavy, so it is important to me that my conditioner is hydrating and this was!

Sooo thick!

This is the most rich, luxurious conditioner. Almost like a mask! So perfect for my bleached hair. Especially as the dry summer weather approaches, I’m keeping my hair soft and shiny with this conditioner. Sooo good!!!

So good with untangling hair strands

I have wavy, dyed hair and use heat styling tools regularly so hair is prone to dryness and breakage. This conditioner makes hair feel soft and smooth, and it works so well on untangling strands. It’s easier to brush hair, no fear of pulling or breaking. Plus the scent is so good! I get coconuts which is my favorite fragrance note. Bond-building and recovery products are a must right after coloring. Helps hair recover from the stress and undo some damage.

Great for fine hair!

As someone with extremely troublesome hair, this conditioner has been a great way to add a little extra shine. My hair is very, fine, so I was really pleased to see that this helped to hydrate my hair, without weighing it down or feeling grease. I also loved that the fragrance lingered a bit after wash. So beautiful!

Oh my gosh I love this so much!! It smells so good and has really been helping my hair. My hair feels so soft and smooth and healthy. The bottle is a good size and will last me a while. It helps with so much.

This product is my staple. It’s my go to for consistent conditioning on color treated hair. It keeps my hair so healthy and so soft. I couldn’t be happier!

Loved the results, but weird smell!

I really enjoyed how soft and smooth my hair felt every time I used this conditioner, but for some reason, this left behind a very strange smell in my hair after it’s dried. I knocked a star off for the smell, but its performance was PERFECT. Thankfully, the Smooth conditioner has very similar ingredients, but smells a lot better and I get the exact same perfectly conditioned results from using that compared to this, along with NO funky smell after my hair is dried! I would say go for Smooth conditioner instead of this because of the smell, unless they change it!
