Eye Opening Mascara

Not worth it. Better options available

Clumpy after a week, flakes all over my face. I only bought this because Dior was out and I regret it everyday.

I don’t understand the poor reviews. It’s an excellent mascara which really opened up my eyes. It held its shape and never budged.

it applies nicely and has a big fat brush that grabs every lash, but it smudges and flakes after a few hours. disappointing for the price

This is the best mascara that I've used in a long time. My eyes get irritated easily and if a mascara flakes it really irritates my eyes. The only time its flaked I took a nap and the side of my face that was in the pillow started flaking.

don’t understand the bad reviews

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MASCARA, and if it ever goes away I will legitimately cry. I have repurchased this mascara over 15 times. I often try others but I always come back. The brush is the best I’ve ever had. It’s like dating a new person for the first time and they open doors for you. You know just gives you all the good feels. It doesn’t clump up on me. I normally do two layers. First layer to put my lashes in place. Wait for it to dry. Add a second layer. Looks flawless every single time. I will add that the one con is that at the end of the day it does get dry and can start to fall apart, but I don’t think you’d have an issue with this in dry weather or humidity (I’ve worn it in 115 degree Vegas heat) 100/5 stars recommend. The only time I’ve had a problem with flakes is when it’s really cold outside.

Wanted to love it.

I really wanted to love this product but unfortunately it just did not work out for me. It is a very dry formula and clumps the lashes. The brush is very nice though.

This stuff really stays on and really opens your eyes. I traveled in Europe with this stuff for months in humidity and it lasted the whole time. The wand is really large which means that application is difficult and you’re really going to get a lot of product on the lashes. But I’ve got hooded eyes... the more the better.

Pros and Cons

This mascara has pros and cons. The main pro is that it performs well on its own. No eyelash primer needed. Your lashes will look really good with this mascara alone. The cons? The formula is thick and tarry, making it more difficult to work with IMO. And because it’s so thick, there is always a danger of clumping your lashes together. So it’s a balancing act. With other brands, I can achieve perfect lashes if I put in the time AND use a primer. I can never achieve perfect lashes with this mascara, but I can get them to look real good. Without a primer. So, ultimately, this product saves time because I only need to apply one product.

I thought I’d like it, I typically like the fluffy brushes. But I got no length and no volume from this mascara, but plenty of clumps

A favorite!

I feel like this is a misunderstood mascara. It is a thick formula that will give you long thick lashes. There could be a little clumping so if you just go over it again with the wand you’ll be fine. I have oily lids and long lashes and this is one of the only mascaras that doesn’t transfer. Plus it’s easy to take off and doesn’t ruin my lashes.

This mascara goes on smooth and dark - love that. I have oily skin and it smudges over the work day. Sad! I will get the sudge proof of this type, Sephora only had the Waterproof that was smudge proof when I purchased. Love the BB brand, especially the matte lip - absolute best! Will stay a fan!
