North Bondi Candle - Scented Candle

smells like hairspray

This candle fills a room really well but it smells a lot like perfume-y hairspray. Kinda reminiscent of the hair and makeup room right before a school play haha. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad smell but it was a bit too intoxicating for me.

Nice, subtle North Bondi smell

I really like this candle, it gives a nice overall scent of North Bondi. My only complaint would be that it’s smaller than I expected as compared to my Voluspa candle. It’s aesthetically pleasing as well

Weak scent

Disappointed because the scent is not very strong and it does not burn evenly at all (gathers up on the sides). Burns very quickly for how much it cost too.

Subtle & soft

I noticed a lot of negative reviews for the Ouai candles and figured I'd write my own. This candle has a delicate scent which is why I like it. It does make my room smell fresh and has a subtle throw. I can keep it burning for hours because it doesn't become overpowering. The aesthetic of the jar is calming too. 5 stars

Smells cheap like a hair product. Not what I was expecting

Subtle and Natural

I love a scented candle but I am very sensitive to strong artificial scents. This OUAI candle is perfect for me. The scent is subtle & natural. It reminds me of a warm summer evening. Even the container is chic & minimal & completely reusable. The wax is coconut & soy based. This North Bondi makes all my other candles seem like amateurs.

Ouai is one of my favorite beauty brands. Their scents are light, feminine and chic. When I saw they made candles, it was a no brainer these were a must have. The Bondi scent is light but yet rich. The candle burns well and I am very happy with my purchase!

the best scent for fall/winter

The Ouai scented candle is truly one of a kind. I’ve owned many candles but this is on a different level. True to its name, the candle gives off a perfume-esque aroma, filling the room with a over-the-top luxurious scent. If I were to try and pinpoint the smell, I would say it’s somewhere between the lines of blooming flowers in spring, combined with clean laundry. The exterior is simple, yet the minimalistic design only adds to the candle’s finesse. When lit, the scent quickly spreads yet it doesn’t produce a musky or overly potent smell. Even unlit, the candle can easily fill a small room with a pleasant smell. This candle is perfect for bathrooms and living spaces, instantly adding luxury to wherever it’s placed. The scent is also somewhat calming, so I’m sure taking a bath with this candle would be an awesome experience. After using it for a bit, I’ve noticed that the candle’s scent lingers after it’s blown out, but it doesn’t stain. All in all, it’s a fantastic product and I would highly recommend for anyone who’s fond of candles or a OUAI fan!

This smells amazing! I don’t get the other reviews because mine throws sent so good my whole house smells like this sent!

Doesn't fill room

Definitely doesn't throw a scent. You can only smell it if you bring your nose close to the candle, but it will not fill your room with any smell
