The Cleansing Foam

Had such high hopes!

I was honestly excited to try this product. I’ve tried the face creams and I was super impressed. But this face wash isn’t for everyone. It really dried up my face and eyes even. For the record I don’t wash my eyes with the soap itself but it does run down when it gets rinsed off with water. Such a dissapointment 😭

Best product ever for mature and sensitive skin. This bottle lasts me a little over 2 months. Well worth the price and smells amazing.

I really enjoy using this cleanser. The cleansing foam and the clé de peau are my favorite one. They do cleanse your skin without stripping it. Super foamy it last quite a while!

if you are looking for an honest review.. look no further!!! -I've always been a huge cleanser person. I tend to not buy skincare that is too harsh so i stick with my masks, cleansers and moisturizers and I've always known about the brand La Mer. Unfortunately, I am too broke to actually buy something full size but when I recently got some money out of sheer blindness I bought the mini for this cleansing foam just to try it out and I will say with much confidence, that you will not regret it. The smell is so so so amazing so if you are really into fragrance you will love this! I smells and feels so luxurious like you are being pampered at a spa :) A little goes a long way but from how often I use this because of how good it is, I might invest for the bigger size. If you have oily/combo skin this is a must!!! A little pricey but well worth it. Overall excellent, you get what you pay for and it did its job and did it well!!! Would recommend <333

This isn’t for me

As I get older, I wanted to pay more attention to my skin. About a year ago, I bought three La mer products. Cleanser, treatment lotion and moisturizing cream. I read so many raving reviews and I really wanted to love them. But I couldn’t . They are ok but I can find similar products which are 1/10 of the price. I had to constantly remind myself how much I paid to motivate myself to use the products before they expire..after a year of trying, I just gave up on them.. if you can, try to get the samples before committing to full sizes.

Perfect for aging skin!

Perfect for my combination aging skin! I have tried so many luxury face cleansers and this has been the best cleanser by far. I would not use it if you have dry skin though! My skin is prone to hormonal acne and this has completely transformed the texture of my skin. A little goes a long way - it is highly concentrated so I use a pea sized amount on my PMD wand.

Nope

Trashed it. Didn’t foam and stripped my skin. Pluses are that it’s not heavily scented and it’s lathering. If I had oily skin or wore heavier makeup, I could see liking this more. But definitely not for me.

Skin feels clean after use. A little bit goes a long way. Won’t use any other cleanser on my face. Will continue to buy.

feels good but drying

It is drying on my combination skin and my cheeks feel tight and dry. good thing I tried the small size first. I like the texture and the subtle scent but I will look further.

I didn't even try the sample size first. I went ahead and got a full bottle and it worked out for me. I like this face cleanser a lot. and I will probably buy it again.

leaves skin feeling dry and tight

Foams nicely and gets the skin clean, but it is very drying. Like crazy skin tight on the face feeling where it feels like it’s dying for moisturizer. Definitely a pass on this. I know foaming cleansers have a tendency to do this but there are some much better cleansers for much less, which foam and don’t dry you out.
