The product my hair feel very tangled and dry after using. Also, did not seem to improve the appearance of my hair or hydrate.

Terrible product, still recovering after 2 washes

I never leave reviews but I hated this product so much I am spending valuable time writing this review. First day after using it, my hair was insanely static and dry, like to a comical extent. Second wash, less static but dry and flat and somehow greasy at the same time. I am hoping that after the third wash out my hair just goes back to the way it was before I used this scam product. :( :(

Really bad

Not sure why it’s called “weightless” when everytime I use it my hair feels sticky, rough,tangly, dry. It makes your hair have the sticky wet film feeling on it

A little goes a long way

I have been using this for a month now. I have fine, thin hair and a little goes a long way with this mask. It is pretty heavy and if I use too much it leaves it weighed down and greasy looking on the ends. That being said when I do use the right amount the results are pretty noticeable and lovely.

Overhyped and disappointing

I was really excited to try this hair mask, but it ended up being a big disappointment. Instead of leaving my hair soft, hydrated, or manageable, it actually made it feel dry, rough, and very tangled. After rinsing it out, my hair was harder to detangle than before, which is the opposite of what I expect from a mask. For the price and the reputation of the brand, the performance is just not there. In my opinion, this brand is very overrated, and I wouldn’t repurchase this product or recommend it.

Got this product for my mom as requested from her since she needed it to help with her hair loss

Not for my fine hair

Left my fine wavy color treated hair feeling very dry and heavy. I used twice thinking just had bad luck the first time, but no go.

I’m not really sure what to think about this, definitely not what is advertised. I didn’t feel like it moisturized at all. I have fine hair but I moisture and this isn’t it.

Growth! Finally!

Silly hair that’s easy to style. Use weekly and make sure to compliment with Olaplex pre wash and seal in with the leave- in otherwise you probably won’t get any results.

Not hydrating, and weighed down fine hair.

I used the previous version of olaplex hair mask for years and loved it. Decided to try this since I have fine hair that needs a lot of moisture (curly). It somehow left my hair still very dry but also weighed down. Somehow less hydrating than regular conditioner. Very disappointed

I’m so bummed that olaplex 8 seems to be discontinued. I tried this and was disappointed! I’ll have to search for 8 or the professional 4 in 1, as those are far superior for my bleached & fine hair- they make my hair feel AMAZING!
