One Star or Five Star

I loved this product the first two times I ordered it. It is a heavier cream, but for my 57-year-old skin, it worked so well. The product was creamy to the tough and although a little heavy I felt like it absorbed well. THEN on my 3rd order, everything changed. I really think this product is sensitive to either heat or cold because on my 3rd order the consistency of the cream was a lot like ice cream that has melted and was re-frozen. It separated, congeled into a hard mess, smelled funny, was waxy, and did not absorb into my skin. And, of course, I could not return the product. I wonder if these bad reviews are due to the product instability and sometimes you get a "good" batch, sometimes a "bad batch".

pills and waxy residue

unfortunately I used my points to get this cream. I use other clinique products b/c I trust them. this was AWFUL. It feels very waxy not hydrating and pills very badly.

The cream balls on my face. No effect of plumping not even moisturizing. Save your money this product should not be continued.

Worst smelling face lotion

I got a sample of this and it smells awful. I wouldn’t want to use this again as the smell is too overpowering. I wouldn’t even say “fragranced” like perfume, it smells more like a self-tanning lotion or chemicals.

Flaky Mess

This left my skin feeling coated with grease and when you touch your face, the cream flakes off. I know the end game of this product is to help plump your face where you want fullness but I just can’t get over the gross, dirty feeling my face has once I’ve put the cream on... Sad!

Amazing

Fantastic cream that worked for me. I see a serious difference in my skin (plumper, more hydrated). It is not necessarily a light cream, but it's winter right now here and it's absolutely doing the trick.

Love It

I'm entirely confused by the reviews claiming this cream is heavily scented. I'm super sensitive to smells and this to me definitely does not qualify as overly-fragrant by any means. As for the efficacy of the cream--I went through medical menopause early and have lost volume in my face as a result and this does plump those areas up a bit. It's not a miracle worker, but the results are noticeable enough for me to repurchase. Please keep making this!

Smells Terrible

One of the worst smelling skincare products I've ever used in my life. I can't believe they are charging $69 for a product that smells that bad!! Product texture is very thick and heavy, so it is best that you have dry skin, so that your skin can handle it. It is very moisturizing.

Love it. This is my favorite. It works. It’s is thick but I love the texture. I use under my eyes too.

Heavy and Fragranced

The positive reviews I've read said they've definitely seen results, especially on their neck. Negative reviews said they broke out. I experienced nether of those, but I am still not going to purchase the full size of this. I did not care for the fragrance. Also, do not believe the "lightweight cream" in the product description. This is THICK and HEAVY. So much so that I used this as my last step in my nighttime routine. The application is nice and smooth and somewhat satisfying. But nothing stood out that would make me want to re-purchase, while I had more reasons to not go back.

It Does Work

These bad reviews are mostly about breakouts and clogged pores, and they just aren’t using this product correctly. It only goes on areas of your face where you want more volume, so I put the cream on my upper cheeks. I actually have the duo of this and I use the resculpt on my forehead and jawline. You do not put it all over your face or you could end up looking bloated. There’s a great video be Clinique on YouTube that will show you how to use this. If you do it right it actually works. I use it after my serums and before my moisturizer.
