Prep Primer - Base de coiffage hydratante

This is a good lightweight detangler for fine hair that doesn’t weigh it down. But what is this price increase???? This is now insanely overpriced for what it is

Great for my fine, oil-prone hair

I've been using this for a few weeks, and so far my hair likes it. I have oily hair that gets weighed down and greasy if you look at it sideways, so I've been on a search for a good lightweight conditioner. But then I realized that all I need conditioner for is detangling, and leave-in conditioner exists! This is the first leave-in I've tried, so I don't have much to compare it to, but it's great. I use the tiniest amount -- just like three sprays on my canopy and two sprays at the underside of my hair near my nape, and it detangles everything perfectly. It's lightweight too, and my hair has so much more body without a heavy conditioner weighing it down. I also like that it's a "primer" too -- it might just be a clever marketing term, but it makes me feel okay putting styling products in my hair (right now I'm loving a few spritzes of the Bumble & bumble Pret-a-porter post-workout mist at the roots, and a tiny bit of the Ouai air dry foam through the lengths).

Awesome lightweight restyler

I love this primer! I use it as a restyling spray. Or if my hair is looking frazzled during the day? A spritz! My hair is naturally ashy blond, fine, slightly thin, blond highlights, but overall healthy. If you need more hydration go for the invisible oil primer. Both are great

My holy grail detangler. I’ve been using this for literally 10 years—I will never buy anything else!

disappointed

Not getting the results I expected from this product—hair still tangled & difficult to brush out. I have been using for months & not helping much. No smell.

Love this! Really helps with moisture and is a great primer for using products. Totally recommend this one!

Love this detangler—doesn’t leave a residue on my hair or make it feel greasy or thick of textured when dry.

I always keep a bottle of this around because the smell is AMAZING. I use it in my hair after washing it and it helps detangle when brushing it through. It also helps prep my hair before styling. Great stuff!

worth the buy!

i love this product! i use it before styling and also to reactivate my hair like the description says and it works great. even spray in after a wash and it makes my hair so soft.

I had high hopes this detangler would work. I doused it all over my hair after I washed it, and could barely get my brush through. No idea how this product works for anyone based on the previous reviews, which I based my purchase off of. Only thing positive about this was the herbal scent. Will be returning.

Tried and True

I’ve been using this for years and years. I had a time where I had to pinch pennies, and tried going without it. I found that I really need it; it makes all the other products I use work so much better.

It's OK

I am a big fan of B&B products and had heard great things about this hair primer. Unfortunately I haven't noticed much of a difference in my hair after using it. It does have a nice, light smell though which I like. For now, I will probably keep using it until I find another primer I like.
